Best Quality Assurance Hotel Award

We are proud to announce that we were awarded with the Best Quality Assurance Hotel Award, from Choice Hotels International, Inc in Latin America and the Caribbean. This is the second consecutive year we, Sleep Inn San Jose, get this recognition. We strive for world class customer service, we realize the client is the reason we are here.
Choice Hotels International has selected Grupo Real to conduct these inspections. They have extensive experience in the hospitality industry and possess a demonstrated strength and consistent approach for designing and conducting quality assurance programs.

Our hotel was evaluated on issues including staff professionalism and training, safety and security, work area conditions, retention policies, internal communications, knowledge of the property and area and food-and-beverage operations among others.
Out of the 14 hotels in the Latin America and Caribbean area our hotel was selected best in all aspect of the inspection. There are three inspections conducted through out the year, of which two are programmed and one is unannounced.

The compliance of existing franchisees with quality standards is monitored through scheduled and unannounced quality assurance reviews conducted periodically at each property. Properties that fail to maintain a minimum score
are reinspected on a more frequent basis until deficiencies are cured, or until
such properties are terminated.
Commitment to guest satisfaction and operational excellence are key focal points for Choice. Across all of its brands, Choice is investing in programs that can help improve guest service at the property level and potentially enhance service consistency at all hotels. Sleep Inn San Jose selected by reviewing properties' guest satisfaction scores, which are calculated using surveys emailed to guests within 48-72 hours of checkout, as well as Quality Assurance Review scores.
Quality Assurance Programs

Consistent quality standards are critical to the success of a hotel franchise. Choice has established quality standards for all of the franchised brands that cover housekeeping, maintenance, brand identification and minimum service offering. Properties are inspected for compliance with Choice Hotels quality standards when application is made for admission to the franchise system.
To encourage compliance with quality standards, various brand-specific
incentives and awards are used to reward franchisees that maintain consistent
quality standards.

Choice Hotels identify franchisees whose properties operate below
minimum quality standards and assist them in complying with brand
specifications. Franchisees who fail to improve on identified quality matters
may be subject to consequences ranging from written warnings to termination of
the franchisee's franchise agreement. |
